Jikiden Reiki

Reiki

Reiki is an ancient and natural energy healing practice that originated in Japan.  It is a gentle but powerful energy work that has a long history in aiding the healing of virtually every known physical and emotional illness. Reiki can also help eliminate bad habits and the negative side effects of medical treatments by shortening healing time, reducing pain and releasing stress.

In reiki, healing energy is sent through the practitioner’s hands to assist the client in healing on a physical and emotional level.

Practitioners use the life-force energy or "ki" all around us, and are able to pass it on to re-awaken the natural healing process in others by focusing the energy on the areas where it is most needed.

Jikiden Reiki

Jikiden Reiki is the original reiki system and is the basis for all other reiki styles. It differs from the Western style in its approach, attitude and ideas and is said to be the most effective form of reiki. Most people notice a significant difference in the feel and effectiveness of the energy received in Jikiden Reiki.

JIkiden means "directly taught" in Japanese and in 1999, Jikiden Reiki was finally brought to the United States by Tadao Sensei, one of the few Japanese Masters allowed to teach the technique that his family preserved with a direct traceable lineage back to the original Jikiden Reiki founder Usui Sensei.

Jikiden Reiki works specifically with light energies to pinpoint areas of your body, which need healing. Your body is then charged with these energies in order to shift your physical body into healing. Enjoy this gentle, but powerful healing modality to balance the body mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually.  In addition, Jikiden Reiki can:
