Sarah GebekeSarah Gebeke first began to take action through healing during her sophomore year of college.  Like many college students, her anxiety and stress lead to physical health problems, and she found reiki to be the most affective form of treatment.

In 2000, Sarah became certified to practice the Usui Method of Natural Healing and she quickly found that the benefits far exceeded her expectations.  Not only was she able to manage anxiety and stress, for the first time in her life, she was able eliminate the physical health issues that had plagued her since childhood – chronic fatigue, food allergies, stomach issues and headaches.

Sarah’s family immediately noticed the positive changes in her health and wellbeing and began asking for her to treat them as well.  Soon, Sarah was regularly performing reiki on family and friends.

In 2010, Sarah discovered Jikiden Reiki and immediately knew she had a higher calling – to share this clear, simple, direct and extremely effective reiki practice with as many people as possible.  Not only as a healer, but as a teacher so that individuals could spread the benefits of Jikiden Reiki to their families and friends.

Jikiden Reiki is a practice that comes directly from a traceable linage with only three people separating Sarah from Usui Sensei, the original
Jikiden Reiki teacher. Sarah’s teacher, Tadao Yamaguchi is from Kyoto, Japan and was taught by his mother Chiyoko Yamaguchi, who was taught by Dr. Hayashi who was taught directly by Usui Sensei.

In addition to being a certified teacher of Jikiden Reiki, Sarah is a certified Guide and Teacher by the Modern Mystery School International and is trained to offer ancient wisdom teachings and healing sessions through the direct lineage of the Modern Mystery School. Sarah practices out of her True Sanctuary office based in Edina, MN.  You can also see her True Sanctuary website by clicking here!

Sarah currently resides in the Twin Cities and in her free time, she enjoys meditating, international travel, and cooking healthy foods.
